BK is a fantastic guide! I have been on two trips with him. The first was with the Sierra Club where he was the lead guide.?? ??At the end of the ???scheduled??? part of the trip, I was not ready to go back home. BK invited me to visit his village. From Lukla we left the tourist path. We walked straight up and down the foothills of the Himalayas until two days later by the light of our headlamps we arrived to the warm welcome of his parents and sisters. I can not even begin to explain how amazing it was to experience life in the village as the special guest of BK.

I have trekked with B.K. on several occasions since 1999. I have always found he and his staff to be some of the most helpful and friendly people to hike and work with on a trip. I went to Nepal as a trip participant and met B.K. for the first time in 1999. His charm and friendly spirit kept me coming back to lead other trips for the Sierra Club.?? I have only had wonderful compliments about B.K. and his staff from people who came on my trips. The love he exhibits for his people and the pride he has for his country will probably have you wanting to learn more about Nepal and return for another visit. If you are looking for a local Nepali guide who is knowledgeable about Nepal and will care for your every need on a trip, I highly recommend him and his company.
